CYTOFLEX Ti-ENFORCED® Titanium-Reinforced ePTFE Barrier Membrane is a multi-layer, non-resorbable membrane intended to be surgically placed under the muco-periosteum to aid in tissue regeneration. It is a barrier material with a titanium frame enclosed within two layers of ePTFE material. The titanium reinforcement is intended for space and shape maintenance to contain bone grafting material and to minimize graft movement during wound healing. The Ti-Enforced™ membranes are textured on both surfaces to improve handling and adhesion between tissue and membrane. Made in USA.

Ti-reinforced ePTFE (expanded polytetrafluoroethylene) membranes are a variation of ePTFE membranes that are reinforced with titanium. They are commonly used in dental implant procedures to promote tissue regeneration and healing. Here are some general guidelines for using Ti-reinforced ePTFE membranes:

1. Select the appropriate product: Choose the appropriate Ti-reinforced ePTFE membrane for the surgical procedure, based on the manufacturer's instructions and the patient's anatomy.

2. Prepare the surgical site: Ensure that the surgical site and surrounding tissues are clean and dry. Use a sterile saline solution or other appropriate cleaning agent to remove any debris or bacteria from the area.

3. Cut the membrane: Cut the Ti-reinforced ePTFE membrane to the appropriate size and shape for the surgical site.

4. Position the membrane: Position the Ti-reinforced ePTFE membrane over the surgical site, taking care to ensure that it is properly aligned and in contact with the surrounding tissue.

5. Suture or secure the membrane: Suture or otherwise secure the Ti-reinforced ePTFE membrane in place, taking care not to damage or displace it.

6. Protect the site: Protect the surgical site from external pressure or movement that could displace the Ti-reinforced ePTFE membrane.

7. Monitor healing: Monitor the healing process of the surgical site, taking care to ensure that the Ti-reinforced ePTFE membrane is properly integrating with the surrounding tissue.

8. Follow up: Follow up with the patient after the surgery to monitor healing progress and assess the need for additional interventions or treatments.

Ti-reinforced ePTFE membranes are typically more durable and resistant to tearing or perforation than standard ePTFE membranes, making them well-suited for procedures that require a stronger or more durable barrier. By following these general guidelines and using appropriate caution and care, healthcare providers can help to ensure optimal outcomes for their patients.

    Best PTFE membrane in market

This titanium-reinforced membrane is easy to trim and conform over the defect. Great product!
