OSTEOGEN Bone Grafting Plugs

The OsteoGen^® Bone Grafting Plug offers a simple, cost-effective solution for ridge maintenance and socket preservation. Designed for easy clinical placement, this ready-to-use plug combines bioactive, resorbable calcium apatite crystals with Type I bovine Achilles tendon collagen to streamline the grafting procedure while supporting natural bone regeneration. Unlike traditional collagen plugs, OsteoGen actively promotes bone formation while stabilizing the surgical site—eliminating the need for a barrier membrane in many cases.

OsteoGen^® is a bioactive, resorbable calcium apatite bone graft that closely resembles the physicochemical and crystallographic structure of human bone. Its unique non-ceramic manufacturing process creates a resorbable graft with a proprietary calcium-to-phosphorus ratio that is neither ß-TCP nor non-resorbable dense ceramic hydroxyapatite, and not a biphasic combination of the two.
